These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of annlune.com and your purchase or use of digital products offered by Ann Lune (“Ann Lune,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the website, placing an order, or downloading a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services or purchase our products.

  1. OUR SERVICES

Ann Lune sells digital crochet patterns, pattern bundles, printable instructions, tutorials, and related downloadable materials.

Unless a listing expressly states otherwise:

• All products are digital downloads
• No finished crochet item is included
• No yarn, hook, kit, or physical material will be shipped

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue products or website features where reasonably necessary.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

If you use the Services on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

  1. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to describe each product accurately, including its contents, skill level, language, terminology, materials, measurements, and file format.

Before purchasing, you are responsible for reviewing:

• The complete product description
• The stated skill level
• Required yarn, hook, tools, and materials
• Pattern language and crochet terminology
• Finished measurements and gauge information
• File and device compatibility

Product photographs generally show examples made using the pattern. Exact results are not guaranteed.

  1. ORDERS AND PAYMENT

Prices and available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

You agree to provide accurate billing, contact, and payment information.

An order is not complete until payment is successfully authorized. We may refuse, cancel, or limit an order if:

• Payment cannot be verified
• Pricing or product information contains a material error
• Fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity is suspected
• These Terms or another store policy have been violated

If we cancel a paid order before digital delivery, we will issue an appropriate refund.

  1. DIGITAL DELIVERY

Purchased files are generally delivered through the order-confirmation page, email, or a digital-download service after successful payment.

You are responsible for:

• Providing an accurate email address
• Downloading and safely storing your files
• Maintaining compatible software and devices
• Protecting download links from unauthorized access

Delivery may be delayed while a payment is reviewed.

  1. DIGITAL PRODUCT LICENSE

Purchasing a digital product grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the files according to these Terms.

You may:

• Download the purchased files for your own use
• Print reasonable copies for your personal use
• Create finished physical crochet items from the patterns
• Sell finished physical items that you personally make in small quantities, unless a product listing states otherwise

Credit to Ann Lune is appreciated when selling finished handmade items but is not required unless stated in the applicable product listing.

You may not:

• Resell, copy, share, sublicense, or redistribute any digital file
• Share or publish download links
• Upload files to social media, websites, cloud drives, marketplaces, forums, groups, or file-sharing platforms
• Translate, modify, reformat, or adapt files for redistribution
• Claim a pattern, design, photograph, or instructional file as your own
• Use the files to create a competing pattern, template, course, bundle, database, or digital product
• Use the files for factory production or commercial mass production
• Use the files in a paid class, workshop, membership, or teaching resource without written permission
• Remove copyright, branding, attribution, or ownership notices
• Provide purchased files to artificial-intelligence training systems, datasets, or content-generation services

One purchase does not grant a license to share the files with friends, customers, employees, students, groups, or organizations.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website and its content—including patterns, instructions, text, photographs, graphics, videos, logos, branding, layout, and downloadable materials—are owned by Ann Lune or used under an appropriate license.

No intellectual-property right is transferred to you except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms.

  1. FINISHED ITEMS

You are responsible for ensuring that finished items you create are safe, lawful, properly labeled, and suitable for their intended use.

If you sell finished items, you are responsible for product safety, taxes, consumer disclosures, and compliance with laws applicable to your business.

  1. REFUNDS

Digital purchases are governed by our Refund Policy.

Except where required by law or expressly approved under that policy, purchases are final after download access has been provided.

  1. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTS

Promotions, discount codes, bundles, and special prices:

• May be changed or withdrawn at any time
• May have product, customer, market, or time restrictions
• Cannot be exchanged for cash
• May not be combined unless expressly permitted

If a promotion is applied incorrectly because of a technical or pricing error, we may correct the order or offer an appropriate cancellation and refund.

  1. ACCOUNTS AND SECURITY

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

Notify us promptly if you believe your account or order information has been used without authorization.

  1. ACCEPTABLE USE

You must not:

• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity
• Interfere with the website’s operation or security

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and use submitted content for operating and promoting the Services, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or infringes another person’s rights.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment processors, digital-delivery tools, analytics services, advertising platforms, and social networks.

We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms.

  1. DISCLAIMER

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and digital products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

• The website will always be uninterrupted or error-free
• Every file will work with every device or application
• Your finished crochet item will exactly match a photograph
• A pattern will be suitable for every skill level or intended use
• Minor typographical or instructional errors will never occur

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ann Lune will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses arising from the Services or digital products.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

  1. INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Ann Lune harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Services, infringement of intellectual-property rights, unauthorized redistribution of digital products, or material breach of these Terms.

  1. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, or threatened the security or rights of Ann Lune or others.

Provisions relating to intellectual property, licensing, disclaimers, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the State of Montana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Mandatory consumer-protection rights available in your country or state remain unaffected.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted, unless a later effective date is stated or applicable law requires additional notice.

  1. SEVERABILITY

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

  1. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping and Digital Delivery Policy, Privacy Policy, and any product-specific terms, constitute the agreement between you and Ann Lune regarding the Services.
